This program strives for significant scientific advances in the Networking and Communication services fields, genetic research support applications, and Grid scientific computing environments. Research development is based in sharing complementary research knowledge between the three groups and participant companies, so that each group can achieve its foreseen objectives, and contribute to the attainment of the scientific program’s joint objectives. The objectives are strongly independent. Their fulfillment depends on each and every one of the groups achieving the anticipated results. Independence stems, on one hand, from the mutual interchange of requirements, and on the other, from the technological solutions that promote each of the research areas. The global result will be an integrated and independent advancement in distributed hi-performance bio-computing solutions over advanced packet networks services.
